Nicknamed “gas station heroin,” these products are sold under the brand “Neptune’s Fix.” They contain an ingredient called tianeptine which could be very dangerous or even fatal if it interacts with certain medications. This “gas station heroin,” got its nickname, because it is sold at many gas stations, convenience stores even some smoke shops. It is not just sold here in New Jersey but all over the country. The Food And Drug Administration has stated that there is a increase of reactions to not only the energy liquid, but tablets and pills that contain this tianeptine.
What Is Tianeptine?
Tianeptine is sold on the market as a mood booster, and is used for anxiety and depression. It can be used as a dietary supplement. Many reports have been coming out on this topic. One reports says that tianeptine can give you the same sensation and fix as opioid drugs and can lead to abuse and even worse. Some of the outcomes could end up giving seizures, fainting, overdosing, and even death.
Tianeptine can be found in Neptune’s Fix Elixir, Neptune’s Fix Extra Strength Elixir, and Neptune’s Fix Tablets and Pegasus.
