Grandma Really Run Over By A Reindeer At New York Turkey Trot: VIDEO
We all know the Christmas classic song, ‘Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer‘…
Well, this just happened! When the incident happened, a grandma was at a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day in upstate Watertown, NY, just about 70 miles north of Syracuse, near the Canadian border. This was a whitetail deer, but that doesn’t fit the old song. However, we can still go with it.
A bunch of deer were seen in the video as the Turkey Tro was going on. They started running through the crowd, and spectators were seen, turning their heads in disbelief, but to everyone’s surprise, there was This ONE deer, and for the time being, we will call him “Rudolph.”….
This deer comes flying through, runs, and crashes, taking out and knocking down the elderly woman and what seems to be her running partner. Someone must tell Santa to keep those reindeer, on a tighter leash.

Gotts’ Thoughts
There are no reports of the women being hurt, so it’s ok to laugh…just a little.
It is that time of year were deer are out and about, so please be extra careful out on the roads, or in this case running in a Turkey Trot.
I was just driving down RT 18, and a bunch of reindeer ran out in front of me. Luckily I was able to stop and let them get across the road.
Here is the kicker, and some food for thought if you see a deer running across the street, there is usually a bunch that follow, as they do run in groups most of the time. Be on the lookout for Bambi and friends.
