Yankees GM Cashman Says Team Isn’t Done: ‘We’re In It To Win It”

Good morning, Sports fans!  It's your kindly ambassador of athletics here...Davey Mac...and I've got a rather large and exciting Sports Report for ya!  We've got all kinds of news and scores in football, basketball, and hockey!  But first...a little baseball hot stove talk!  Let's dive right in!  And today's topic- the always interesting New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman! [caption id="attachment_952388" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] BRONX, NEW YORK - DECEMBER 21: New York Yankee general manager Brian Cashman speaks to the media during a press conference at Yankee Stadium on December 21, 2022 in Bronx, New York. [caption id="attachment_952394" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] NEW YORK, NEW YORK - OCTOBER 01: Joey Gallo #13 of the New York Yankees reacts after lining out to right field in the bottom of the sixth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium on October 01, 2021 in New York City. [caption id="attachment_952391" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] TORONTO, ON - SEPTEMBER 28: Aaron Judge #99 of the New York Yankees leaves the field at the end of the fifth inning against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre on September 28, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. [caption id="attachment_952382" align="aligncenter" width="594"] BRONX, NEW YORK - DECEMBER 21: Yankees principal owner Hal Steinbrenner speaks during a press conference at Yankee Stadium on December 21, 2022 in Bronx, New York. (Photo by Dustin Satloff/Getty Images)[/caption]   Hey, I'm a Yankees fan.  Ultimately, it's all about the team's success.  If Cashman can somehow regain the baseball IQ that made him a solid gm fifteen years ago...AND if the Yankees WIN...then great!  But the pressure is on for Cashman.  He better win this year...or it'll be a very dark day in the Bronx.  Now on to the Scoreboard!
