It all started on Monday for the Jersey Cash 5 drawing. This lucky winning ticket was sold at the Wawa on Route 9 in Freehold, according to NJ Lottery officials.
The winning numbers, which did match up on the ticket on all five numbers drawn, officials said, were 03, 19, 24, 27, and 39. The XTRA number was 03, and the Bullseye number was 39.
This was the second consecutive Cash 5 jackpot to be hit in Monmouth County.
On Nov. 16, a ticket drawn in Oakhurst won $685,092. Officials said the store that sells the ticket gets some cash, as it will receive a bonus check of $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Even in Shrewsbury, another lucky winner took home $10,000 from the lottery's Nov. 22 drawing. Always check your numbers and tickets, and as they say, " You just never know."
What's The Next Big Cash Drawing From The NJ Lottery
As we keep our fingers crossed, and have every luck charm out get ready for the upcoming next big drawings from the NJ Lottery. One thing you will be thankful for Thanksgiving is if you hit the PICK 6, at an estimated value of $20.7 million jackpot, and a cash value of $9.8 million. Very easy to play this one, at $2 you just have to pick six numbers between 1 and 46. Or if you'd rather have the Lottery computer randomly pick your numbers for you, ask your Retailer for a "Quick Pick."
Another big lottery drawing that is coming up this Friday is the Mega Millions, valued at $514 million and a cash option at $241 million.
Again this one is just $2 to play, and you need to pick five numbers between 1-70 and one Mega Ball number between 1-25. Now make sure you select how you want to be paid if you win, it will be either Annuity or Cash (the value of the advertised estimated jackpot in a lump sum). Applies to both Mega Millions and Just the Jackpot plays.
