Description: Beasley Media Group New Jersey’s digital sales team is growing again! We are looking for motivated, out-of-the-box digital sales executives with 5+ years of digital sales experience and a proven track record of performance to join our team.

This job requires the ability to develop new business, maximize existing digital revenue while developing and retaining strong client relationships. BMG New Jersey’s solution-based approach and robust menu of digital products requires that this Digital Sales Executive possess a deep understanding of the entire digital advertising landscape.  The ideal candidate should be well-versed in display advertising, email marketing, social and content marketing, SEM, SEO as well as being analytical, organized, solution-minded, and customer centric.

The Digital Sales Executive will have the following responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Develop new digital media business in New Jersey
  • Perform probing Customer Needs Analyses to uncover client’s goals and strategic objectives
  • Create custom programs in conjunction with our support team to achieve client’s objectives
  • Present, close and renew digital media programs in New Jersey
  • Work with clients and our support team to optimize digital campaigns
  • Post campaign, review and analyze custom performance reports that measure goal achievement with the goal of renewal and upsell

DIGITAL SALES SPECIALIST – NEW JERSEY

Description: The Digital Sales Specialist (DSS) will possess a deep knowledge of digital, from tools that work best to achieve specific sales goals, to the elements needed for a successful campaign. The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking individually with sellers, or presenting to a room filled with clients. The DSS will be well-versed in display advertising, email marketing, social and content marketing, and will be analytical, organized, solution-minded, and customer centric.

The DSS will work cooperatively with salespeople to strategize and execute digital campaigns for clients, sharing the following responsibilities:

  • Prospect clients for digital marketing campaigns
  • Perform customer needs analysis (CNA) in the field to uncover client’s goals and strategic objectives
  • Create custom strategies and tactics to achieve client’s goals and format into custom client facing proposals
  • Present proposal to client
  • Close sales and execute digital solutions for clients
  • Recommend specific digital services to support the client’s strategic goals
  • Communicate specific product benefits and processes to clients, to ensure quality and timely execution of purchased products
  • Work with clients and digital team to deliver a superior return on investment for the digital campaign
  • Evaluate client’s Google Analytics to help analyze campaign effectiveness
  • At the end of the campaign, review custom performance reports that effectively analyze how the customer goals were met or exceeded with the goal of increasing retention and upsell

Qualifications:

  • Radio sales or outside sales experience a must;

  • Solid relationships with advertising and business communities;
  • Excellent writing and creative presentation skills to sell marketing solutions;

  • BS / BA degree;

SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Description:  Beasley Media Group is searching for an outstanding sales professional with previous radio experience to handle existing accounts and to develop and sell advertising through marketing and digital campaigns for our stations in Monmouth/Ocean New Jersey, specifically, 95.9 WRAT and 100.1 WJRZ.  The ideal candidate will have at least three to five years of media sales experience and a proven track record of successful business development.  Responsibilities include soliciting new business through cold calling and prospecting, developing and maintaining existing assigned accounts and budgets, as well as identifying client’s advertising and digital needs. The successful candidate must be able to prepare and present customized solutions to meet client needs and will cultivate and maintain relationships with clients by providing outstanding quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective relationships with key decision-makers in order to exceed client and company expectations
  • Meet monthly revenue goals
  • Collection of outstanding accounts when overdue
  • Participation at station/client events and promotions
  • Work closely in a team atmosphere with multiple departments

Qualifications:

  • Must have a passion for sales
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Exceptional writing and creative presentation skills to sell customized marketing solutions and digital campaigns

PART-TIME PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT

Description: Members of our part-time promotions team are the face of our radio stations and ambassadors for our great brands. Our Promo Crew members are responsible for the planning, set up and completion of station events. Additionally, the ideal candidate must maintain a positive attitude and interaction with our listeners.  This position involves conducting games with prizes; promoting our appearances; assisting with live broadcasts; and, helping to create successful events in New Jersey!

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least two years’ radio experience;

INTERNS WANTED
We are currently seeking interns!

Interns will work in the Promotions/Marketing department, with potential opportunities in the Sales, Production, Programming, and Engineering departments. You will also be exposed to all aspects of running a commercial radio station, learning from some of the best in the industry. Interest in event marketing a plus.

All majors are accepted, college credit is REQUIRED. You must be available a minimum of 15-20 hours a week.
