Description: Beasley Media Group’s 95.9 WRAT and 100.1 WJRZ are looking to hire our next GREAT Sales Assistant. This position reports to the Director of Sales and assists a team of Account Executives in a fast-paced office environment.


  • Must be highly organized multi-taskers;
  • Essential to be a proactive “team-player” who is dependable, trustworthy, and driven to excel and succeed;
  • Must demonstrate a proficiency in Microsoft Office; specifically Word, PowerPoint, & Excel
  • Must have exceptional people skills and the ability to work under deadlines
  • Knowledge of Nielsen Research, Efficio, Marketron, Social media, and Photoshop are a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating PowerPoint proposals
  • Handling day to day paperwork for the sales team
  • Entering orders through our data entry system
  • Track various sales programs and provide support for the sales team
  • Office Management and operating phones
  • Assist Controller by tracking and recording trade orders and merchandise

This job requires the ability to develop new business, maximize existing digital revenue while developing and retaining strong client relationships. BMG New Jersey’s solution-based approach and robust menu of digital products requires that this Digital Sales Executive possess a deep understanding of the entire digital advertising landscape.  The ideal candidate should be well-versed in display advertising, email marketing, social and content marketing, SEM, SEO as well as being analytical, organized, solution-minded, and customer centric.

The Digital Sales Executive will have the following responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Develop new digital media business in New Jersey
  • Perform probing Customer Needs Analyses to uncover client’s goals and strategic objectives
  • Create custom programs in conjunction with our support team to achieve client’s objectives
  • Present, close and renew digital media programs in New Jersey
  • Work with clients and our support team to optimize digital campaigns
  • Post campaign, review and analyze custom performance reports that measure goal achievement with the goal of renewal and upsell

The ideal candidate will have at least three to five years of media sales experience and a proven track record of successful business development. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining existing assigned accounts and budgets, soliciting new business through cold calling and prospecting, as well as identifying client’s advertising and digital needs. The successful candidate must be able to prepare and present customized solutions to meet client needs and will cultivate and maintain relationships with clients by providing outstanding quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advertising and marketing solutions for clients that achieve their objectives, increase business and foster strong working relationships
  • Develop effective relationships with key decision-makers in order to exceed client and company expectations
  • Meet monthly revenue goals
  • Collection of outstanding accounts when overdue
  • Participation at station/client events and promotions
  • Work closely in a team atmosphere with multiple departments


  • Must have a passion for sales
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Exceptional writing and creative presentation skills to sell customized marketing solutions and digital campaigns

Description:Members of our part-time promotions team are the face of our radio stations and ambassadors for our great brands. Our Promotions Team are responsible for assisting in the planning, set up and completion of station and client events. Additionally, the ideal candidate must maintain a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.  This position involves helping to create successful, fun, interactive events in New Jersey.


  • Must have at least two years’ promotion/marketing experience;
  • Expected to be available on nights and weekends;
  • Must be outgoing and energetic;
  • Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and a reliable team player;
  • Must be creative and passionate about the radio industry; and,

We are currently seeking interns!

Interns will work in the Promotions/Marketing department, with potential opportunities in the Sales, Production, Programming, and Engineering departments. You will also be exposed to all aspects of running a commercial radio station, learning from some of the best in the industry. Interest in event marketing a plus.

All majors are accepted, college credit is REQUIRED. You must be available a minimum of 15-20 hours a week.
