“COSTCO” Shopper Injured By His Own Gun In Brick NJ
Hey Rat Rock Nation, the Costco in Brick NJ, just had a man injure himself when his gun went off. This Costco is located at 465 RT 70 Just around 1 pm on January 21st a bunch of shoppers heard a “POP” sound and made 911 calls. After that, they saw an unknown man limping towards the front door to exit. This was just an accident and the gun misfired. It had nothing to do with him trying to rob the place or do any crime. Thankfully no one else was seriously injured in the store.
According to reports of people that heard the shot go off, said this older man was saying that he was a retired cop. Moreover, a lot of children with their parents were in the store during this incident. Another customer was on the record saying how scared they were and got out of the store as quickly as possible.
Emergency Response Was On Hand At The Costco To Treat The Man.
Ambulances were on the scene at Costco to treat the man for his self-inflicted wounds. They didn’t release his name at this time but did say he was somewhere in his sixties. Local police were on the scene right after the gun was misfired. They did not give any other comments on the issue. The unidentified man with the gun did sustain a non-life-threatening injury, and should make a full recovery.
If you own a gun or know someone who has one, please be extra careful. I don’t have one nor do I know the laws of carrying one. I suggest you check in with your local Police Department and get information. To help out you can get some information on gun laws in New Jersey by clicking right HERE.
