Kanu The Lion Finds New Home In NJ At Popcorn Park Zoo
Well, Rat Rockers, Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My !! Firstly we can say hello and welcome to this amazing lion named Kanu to New Jersey. This amazing and beautiful lion just came over to the Popcorn Park Animal Refuge in Forked River NJ back in December. Kanu And His Journey To Popcorn Park In NJ.
Kanu did have a bit of a rough road before getting here. Brought from an animal facility, in Pennsylvania. Kanu was taken care of and was all around loved by his caretakers. Kanu did have some sad news about to come his way when he lost his partner over there. The animal facility did notice that this would be no place for him. He does need a companion in his life.
According to the Associated Humane Societies, that is when his previous caretakers took a look at Popcorn Park and said that’s where he needs to be and surround him with other lions. When he got here, he must have loved it and made new friends such as “Simba” and other big cats. His new keepers are saying Kanu is such a character has lots of personality and makes a lot of people smile.
