Bar A Says Goodbye To The Gazebo Bar
Hey, Rat Rockers if you know me, you know how much I LOVE Bar Anticipation. Especially on a summer day just getting out and about to relax and have a drink. There was only one place to do that around Belmar and it was at Bar Anticipations “Gazebo Bar.” This past Sunday however we did have to say goodbye for the last time.
After 41 years of being built and having countless memories’ under that roof it is time for an upgrade. I myself can’t even share half of the stories that have happened under that iconic roof. I can however tell you that it was always 100% fun and enjoyable. A funny story I can share about the joint is, that I once got blessed by a Religious Monk who was just having lunch and walked by me. I had asked for a quick blessing and he did. Since being on the air, Bar A and The Gazebo Bar held my birthday party every year. DJ Carl and others always got together to come up with a cake and even beer specials were available. The one thing that was always on hand was a great time and that my friends were for FREE.
If you were ever at the Gazebo Bar, I invite you to share some pictures that you might have taken right here in the comment section below. The good news looking forward, is they are rebuilding out there with a whole new setup. So as the summer of 2024 rolls in get ready for a brand new bar outside of Bar Anticipation. I have heard different layouts of the plans but I guarantee, it will make a lot more amazing memories in the future. Hope to see you out there for a pint or two.
Don’t forget to check out every Sunday, for football with me and the Rat Pack from 2pm to 5pm and Miller Lite at Bar Anticipation. Thank you for taking the time out to read this and get more stories by clicking HERE. Much love and keep rocking out The Rat. – Gotts
