Happy 4th Of July Rat Rockers From Our Jersey Troops In Syria
Happy 4th of July Rat Rock Nation! Your friends here at 95.9 The Rat love and honor all of our troops. Over this past week, I received a couple of pictures from my friend Tyler Castor who is an Army Sergeant with the United States Army. Gotts from The Morning Rat Race, gave Tyler a bunch of Rat swag for his deployment, and Tyler and his friend are both from Jersey.
This is Tyler 3rd deployment overseas, and he is joined by about 1500 New Jersey National Guardsmen. It was one of the largest deployments out of New Jersey for the National Guard soldiers since 2008. Tyler and his brothers and sisters are part of the 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team and were sent to Syria. More information at goarmy.

Tyler Castor is one of greatest guy’s from the state of New Jersey. Tyler was born and raised in Neptune and starting working at one coolest places to get a cold pint and plenty of great food. We’re talking about one of my favorite watering holes, Kelly’s Tavern on Highway 35 in Neptune.
Once called into action, Tyler told me what a huge responsibility it is to protect America and perform his additional duties over there.
He was shipped out on January 26th, and has been holding down the fort ever since. It is so good to see and hear from Tyler and feeling relief knowing he is safe. Every now and then I see his mom at Kelly’s, and she is always telling me how much she loves him and how proud she is of his commitment. My friend Tyler is a true HERO in my eyes and I love and honor him. So when your out on the 4th and looking up at the sky watching the fireworks, let’s raise one up for Tyler and all our troops that are standing tall for America. Happy Birthday USA!
