Summer Concert Series Comes To Howell NJ
The Howell NJ Summer Concert Series Line-up is here, complete with fireworks show after every concert!
The sights and sounds of summer are on the way and most of us can’t wait. Cookouts, hanging on the beach, and live music are just a few things that make a Jersey Shore Summer complete.
Now, the nice folks from Howell Township. have set up a weeknight concert series in the month of July.
4 weeks, 4 concerts from July 2nd through July 31st, you’ll get to see some of the area’s best cover bands free of charge.
I love them all, but my favorite of the 4 bands is Super Trans Am. This band takes you back to the 70’s with their unique presentation of arena rock tunes and chart-topping bangers. Plus, the stage production is fantastic. The band’s musicians take turns singing lead throughout the show.
If you grew up listening to Dan Ingram and other radio greats on 77 WABC in New York, you’ll love this unique collection of incredible musicians.
Where Will The Summer Concert Series Be Held?
The concerts will be held at Soldier Memorial Park, Lakewood Farmingdale Road at Maxim Road.
Parking will be limited at Soldier Memorial Park, so the township will offer shuttle buses to and from the park from Howell Middle School North, 501 Squankum Yellowbrook Road.
According to the Patch, the free concerts kick off Wednesday, July 2, and will include a DJ, food vendors, and a beer and wine tent.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. DJ KC James will entertain attendees, and at 7 p.m. the featured band will take the stage and perform until about 9 p.m. The concert evenings will close with fireworks.
