EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY - AUGUST 26: Aaron Rodgers #8 of the New York Jets waits in the tunnel prior to a preseason game against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on August 26, 2023 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Good morning, Jets fans, and, boy, do we have some good news for you. The Holiday Season is in full swing, Hanukkah is rocking right now, and Christmas may have come early for fans of Gang Green. According to an article on TMZ Sports, Rodgers should be cleared the Jets’ medical staff for the Christmas Eve game against the Washington Commanders.

Rodgers, of course, has been out of action since the opening game against the Buffalo Bills in which he tore his Achille. The comeback for Rodgers this season would be the fastest a pro athlete has returned from an Achilles injury in North American sports.

Honestly, it would be absolutely amazing if Rodgers came back this year. As someone who watches all Sports…I’ve seen Achille injuries happen everywhere…from Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant of the NBA to Cam Akers of the NFL and more…it has typically taken an entire year to return from this devastating injury.

For Rodgers to come back would simply be incredible. The question is: should the Jets do it? I mean…what if Rodgers comes back too early…gets injured again…and then has to miss all of next year? OUCH! That would be catastrophic for the Jets. In any event…it should be interesting to watch!
