East Side Dave’s Top 5 Iconic Cars From Movies!
We just saw in the news that the “Mirth Mobile” from Wayne’s World (the baby blue 1976 AMC Pacer) sold at auction for $71,500! Nice! So we thought we’d create a list!
Behold! It’s East Side Dave’s Top 5 Iconic Cars From Movies! Zoom!
5.) The Truck From Mad Max
The truck in Mad Max is as iconic as it gets. For this list, I’m going with the new truck from Mad Max: Fury Road because that movie kicked ass.
4.) The Blues Mobile From The Blues Brothers
Good for evading the Illinois State Police and taking down Nazi’s, the Blues Mobile is best for people who are on a Mission From God. Plus, it’s got S.C.M.O.D.S.
3.) Ecto-1 From Ghostbusters
Let’s be honest. The Ecto-1 completed The Ghostbusters. They were just a rag-tag group of fringe scientists before the Ecto-1 came onto the scene. Now they had a car. And now they had credibility. Plus it was a hearse and it was awesome.
2.) Doc Brown’s DeLoreon From Back To The Future
It’s not just a car. It’s a damned time machine. And it rocks. This is as almost as legendary as it gets…
1.) Batmobile from Batman
…But nothing is as iconic as the Batmobile. It’s so famous…I actually look forward to every new Batman movie because I know we’ll get a new Batmobile! We’re going with three clips for this one since it’s the winner! The Tim Burton Batmobile! The Christopher Nolan Batmobile! And for good measure…the epic Batmobile scene from Zac Snyder’s The Justice League! BAM!
