December 20th Is National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day
It’s time to deck the halls with holly, get the chestnuts roasting on an open fire, and pull out that ugly sweater because it’s National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day! This day happens to fall on the third Friday in December.
Grab that sweater out of the closet whether it has the light-up Christmas tree, a reindeer nose that lights up, or even Santa riding the sleigh with his reindeer. Even if you’re wearing it to a party for work or what we just had with the white elephant gift exchange with friends and family, you can’t go wrong with wearing an ugly sweater. An “ugly Christmas sweater” means exactly what you think it means, it’s a horrible tacky sweater designed with Christmas in thoughts.
Gotts’ Thoughts On This Festive Day
I love seeing these ugly sweaters out and about and they make me crack up. I have seen so many of them, from Santa with no shirt, to reindeer drinking beers. I have a spot in my closet, no joke with over 30 of these ugly sweaters. One of my favorite ones is my Miller Lite sweater. It has Miller Lite cans on it, and one of my friends even attached a picture of me drinking a Miller Lite from Bar A right on the back of the sweater.
Make sure you make this day special and rock that ugly sweater. Remember it’s all out of fun and get in as many laughs as possible. I do want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a very safe and blessed New Year of 2025.
