Salty’s Beach Bar In Lake Como Set To Close This Fall
Heartbreaking news!
I’m hearing that Salty’s Beach Bar here in Lake Como is closing its doors permanently on November 3rd. Regarding the news, Salty’s said this on their Facebook page….
“As I’m sure most have heard all different rumors about Salty’s closing. As most people know I have been in a 2 1/2 year long legal battle over the bar. Never in my wildest dreams could I have anticipated what I’ve dealt with over the last few years. I am happy to say we came to a settlement agreement that I am happy with. While this has been the hardest time in my life I am proud that I never let anyone push me around or bully me into anything”…
The Salty’s owner would also say they met some of the best people in the world and would not change anything about the experience — and thanked everyone who believed in them.
Gotts Experience At Salty’s Beach Bar In Lake Como
When Salty’s Beach Bar opened, it was exciting to have a new bar in the Jersey Shore area. I walked in and saw a lot of my close friends behind the bar and they were so nice to take me on a tour and what changes they made to it from when it was called Pauls Tavern. Who remembers that place?
I loved how they opened the back room for bands that were not just local, but also national acts rolling through there. Even when Belmar St. Patrick’s Parade would happen, there was always enough room to run around, and the BEERS were always flowing. So I do wish all the workers from bartenders and everyone who put their time and effort to making sure we had fun. I wish you all the best of luck in the future.
