5 Injured In School Bus Accident In Barnegat

This is breaking news as it turns out the school bus was overturned on the Garden State Parkway in Barnegat NJ. The bus was reported to be from Brick NJ and overturned on the southbound lane near mile marker 69. The school bus was driving 3 students from the Southern Regional School District who were apart of the Rugby School at Woodfield In Neptune City which is a special education school. The driver and aide, plus two of the students' were injured and needed medical attention. There has also been reports of a damaged car on the scene and being towed away from the accident. Also from about 4 pm a 2 mile back up on traffic has been going on with the delay. It is still not clear what has caused this crashed. Us here at The Rat want to make sure everyone is safe and sound.
