“Friendsgiving” Dinner Party Coming To The Mathis House In Toms River

The event, was planned well prior to the untimely death of Perry on October 28th, at the age of 54. It will be a coming together of friends and family for a wonderful Thanksgiving themed meal, with fun and laughs, hopefully similar to the famous Turkey Day episodes of the popular NBC sitcom, that ran from 1994 – 2004. Tributes to Perry continue to pour in from around the world.

The Dinner.
Dinner will be presented by Chef Bill, their catering chef from Taste Matters in the Mathis House’s dining room at 600 Main street in downtown Toms River beginning at 7pm. Chef Bill will prepare a wonderful meal while you enjoy live music and the beauty of the historic Inn. Meanwhile, the menu will include: Fresh herb roasted turkey breasts with sage gravy. Garlic and parmesan mashed potatoes. Traditional Green Bean, mushroom and fried onion casserole. Jalapeno Parmesan Cornbread. Cranberry Relish. Seasonal Mixed Green Salad and Butternut squash soup. Gourmet Tea, coffee, or soda. The cost is $50 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Friendsgiving was always a special time on TV.
Furthermore, it may be a bittersweet Friendsgiving at Mathis House, regarding the recent loss of Perry. However, one only needs to remember the brilliance he and his castmates created each and every year with the Friends Thanksgiving episodes.
