Jersey Rock Artist of the Week: Lou Panico
New Solo Singles Available Now!
Rocking Catch 19 in Red Bank on December 16!
Ferris Bueller once said “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” Those words definitely apply to this week’s Jersey Rock Artist of the Week. Lou Panico’s music career was set on hyperdrive for over a decade. He toured the world as part of the Drive Thru records band Socratic, helped solidify the mid to late 2010’s Asbury Park music scene as a member of Levy & The Oaks, and is currently rocking the area with Natalie Farrell. He never slowed down, working with one great act after another.
Then the world forced him to slow down.
The 2020 pandemic that shutdown live music afforded a lot of artists an opportunity to stop and look around. Lou Panico took the time to do something he had not done in forever: work on something all by himself. His non-collaborative effort yielded a number of great new singles and a new incarnation for a Jersey Rock veteran. His newfound solo career was formally launched with high energy shows at The Saint and The Asbury Park Yacht Club in the summer of 2022.
