Mr Subs Opens Their First Monmouth County Shop
I’m happy to report that Mr. Subs has opened their first ever Monmouth County location in the Marlboro area. You’ll find Mr. Subs at 415 Route 9, Englishtown in the U-Haul Plaza.
What’s The Story Behind Mr. Subs?
The idea of Mr. Subs was drummed up in a dorm room at Rutgers University by 3 entrepreneurial minded college students.
Now, these business owners have a huge cult following. The business has grown considerably since opening their first shop at 100 South Plainfield Avenue in South Plainfield back in 2010.
In addition to their first shop in South Plainfield, Mr. Subs has shops in North Brunswick, Rahway, Cranbury, East Brunswick, Boundbrook, and the newest one in Englishtown/Marlboro.
According to Mr. Subs’ website, “We use the most flavorful meats, freshest produce (which we try to purchase from local farmers when in season) and our unbelievably soft bread comes fresh everyday from our very own bakery. We strive to serve a delicious sandwich, at a fair price in a clean environment with a smile everyday. We hope to keep expanding throughout New Jersey so all of our fellow New Jersey residents can see what the Mr. Subs hype is all about.”

Let’s talk about the subs! Hot and cold subs are available in 8 inch and 16 inch subs.
All sandwiches are garnished with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano, mayo & hot relish available upon request. All sandwiches are available as wraps breads are baked fresh daily at our bakery.
They also have a hot subs menu at most locations that include some FAT Sandwich selections. They also offer wings, fries, hash browns, chicken tenders, potato salad, macaroni salad, and cookies.
And let’s not forget about their great breakfast menu which is not available in the Rahway and East Brunswick locations.
