Burger 25 Is Coming To Brick
WRAT Shore Awards Winners, Burger 25 is without a doubt one of my favorite burger joints in Ocean County. I live right up the road from the place. That is dangerous! I can’t tell you how many burgers I’ve eaten from Burger 25 in the last several years.
I have a few favorites. One of my favorites is not always on the menu, it’s the lamb burger topped with tzatziki sauce. I have a few in rotation, and they always have special burgers popping up every month.
Thank goodness they moved to a bigger place back in 2020. I was sad that Wolfie’s Deli was closing, but after Burger 25 moved their original location from down the road a few years later, it took away the sting.
They’ve since added another location in Ship Bottom (LBI) earlier in 2023.
Now the folks in Brick, New Jersey won’t have to drive to Toms River or Ship Bottom because Burger 25 just announced they are opening a location on Route 88 which will be part of the new space chosen by Icarus Brewing.
Jason Goldstein, managing member of Ever Upward, which operates as Icarus Brewing in Lakewood announced back in 2021 that they are turning the former Shore Restaurant Supply building into a microbrewery and taproom. Their is no firm opening date at this time. Icarus Brewing will be closing the Lakewood location when the new one opens.
Burger 25 announced the exciting news on Facebook on Christmas day. The message reads: Santa worked his magic again! 🎅 This year, he brought Denise a third location, and you know what they say – third time’s a charm! Especially when the charm involves our incredible neighbors at Icarus Brewing Co. See you in Spring 2024, BRICK!
Since the microbrewery isn’t allowed to sell food, this union is a match made in burger and brew heaven.
Burger 25 doesn’t just sell burgers, they sell wings, a variety of fries, including my favorite, “Boardwalk Fries.” You cannot forget their juicy chicken sandwiches, and their decadent shakes and floats.
Steve and Denise Vetter, the owners of Burger 25, have been contemplating the possibility of expanding Burger 25, and now that dream is reality.
Burger 25 has agreed to rent 4,000 square feet of space from Icarus Brewing, and we could not be happier.
I’m hoping for a Spring 2024 celebration, but as mentioned above, there is no firm opening date.
