Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Desert Jellies
Rocking P.J. Sweeney’s in Brick This Friday 8/21!
Desert Jellies released their latest album “Dried Out” on 8/10. It is the product of what singer/guitar player Gary Whit described as a “long” and “worthwhile” process. Speaking on last week’s Jersey Rock Weekly Podcast episode, he said “we worked so hard on it.” Their hard work paid off in the development of concept album, telling the story of the characters Jackie Moon and Brother Barry. It’s a musical adventure through the desert that challenges the listener to figure out exactly what is going on.
“Dried Out” is available on all streaming platforms including Apple Music and Spotify.
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from Desert Jellies’ new album “Dried Out.” Gary Whit will call in to the show each night!
Don’t miss Desert Jellies at P.J. Sweeney’s in Brick This Friday 8/21 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
