You heard that right, Rat Rock Nation. Ice Cream Nachos are now a thing thanks to a creative mom on Instagram! What are ice cream nachos? Ice cream nachos are something made in heaven and delivered upon a grateful nation… that’s what they are.
How nobody came up with this idea before is kind of stunning. Because, who doesn’t absolutely love nachos and who doesn’t absolutely love ice cream? Before you begin thinking that this is come kind of awful mash up of seasoned ground beef and jalapeño’s let’s get this ice cream party started.

To pull this thing off you’ll need:
- Ice Cream Cones, a bunch of ’em
- Ice Cream, your favorite flavor(s)
- Toppings, again all your favorite ice cream toppings like Reece’s Pieces, Hot Fudge, Sprinkles, Cookie Crunch, you get the picture…

Directions:
First smash up the ice cream cones all over a large size platter. Then scoop out ice cream and put the scoops on top of the crunched up ice cream cones. Finally, put your toppings on in any order you like. Finally, drizzle the hot fudge or chocolate sauce over the top for a delicious finish.

Ice Cream Nachos, The Reaction
Most people on the internet were all thumbs up on the idea, but there were a few naysayers. Most of the people who didn’t think it was a good idea were talking smack that the whole thing would end up being a melted mess really quickly, especially on a hot day.
But, I’m not buying that “melt too fast” complaint. This complaint comes from people who can’t handle a thermometer. If you plan correctly, which I assume the vast majority of adult America can, you ought to be able to properly mitigate the environmental temperature exchange between the delicious frozen treat and the outside air.
