Eddie Vedder Rocks U2’s ‘Elevation’ And We’ve Got The Fan Video!
Pearl Jam fans have to check this out…it’s Eddie Vedder singing U2’s song “Elevation” at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. recently…and it ROCKED.
Vedder and Pearl Jam have been friends since 1993 when PJ opened up for the Irish icons.
Check out the video below!
This isn’t the first time that Eddie Vedder has brilliantly covered U2, either. About thirteen years ago, Eddie was actually at a Chicago Cubs fantasy camp (where regular folks play with Cub legends).
One night a bunch of people from the camp went out to a local karaoke bar and Eddie sang U2’s “Where The Streets Have No Name.” It’s pretty awesome.
All in all…Pearl Jam and U2 have had a great rock alliance. Well done, Eddie!
