Kirk Hammett Thinks Metallica Doesn’t Tour Enough

Metallica tours are special events nowadays since they aren't always on the road. If you wished Metallica toured more, Kirk Hammett agrees with you.The guitarist said on The Metallica Report podcast, " ... I'm happy having the feeling of, like, Metallica is a working, touring band, 'cause sometimes I miss that feeling, 'cause I don't believe we tour enough."He added, " ... 'Cause this is what it's all about, is playing guitar and writing, recording, going out on tour ... I don't feel that there's enough of it in my life right now."If we're talking "right now," Metallica is in the middle of the 2024 leg of their M72 world tour. The iconic metal band's next show is on June 26 in Oslo, and they'll return to North America in August with their first two-night stand taking place August 2 and 4 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
