Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Sonic Blume
New Album “We’re Drifting Further Apart, Aren’t We?” Available Now!
Sonic Blume’s latest release is both retro and forward-looking. With one foot in the past and one stepping towards the future, “We’re Drifting Further Apart, Aren’t We?” further develops the band’s Indie/Dream Pop sound. Sonic Blume turned up the 80’s vibes while maintaining their own modern guitar riffs. It’s an audio crossroads and a most excellent listening experience.
“We’re Drifting Further Apart, Aren’t We?” is available now for streaming via Shorepoints Records. Sonic Blume plans to press the release to vinyl in the near future. In the mean time, you can stream it HERE.
Following their album release show at The Asbury Lanes on 8/15, Sonic Blume will rock the lower east side of Manhattan on 8/26 when they open for Tor Miller at East Berlin. They will return to Asbury Park to rock House Of Independents on 9/2 with Still Hungry. Learn more about both shows HERE.
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from “We’re Drifting Further Apart, Aren’t We?” Sonic Blume singer/guitar player Max Connery will call in to the show each night!
