New Jersey National Guard Sending 1,500 Troops To Middle East
Hey Rat Rock Nation, our NJ National Guard is heading overseas. Firstly, may they all come home safe and God Bless all our American Troops. They had a big send-off at the Cure Insurance Arena. Family and friends were there to see our brave soldiers off. Just around 1,500 soldiers from the 44th Brigade Combat Team are getting ready and some will be there for up to a year. This is the largest deployment of the NJ National Guard since 2008. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy was on hand and thanked the soldiers for their selflessness, service, and commitment. Gotts Great Friend Is Getting Deployed From NJ.
I love this guy so much and he is not just a very close friend but I consider him family. His name is SGT. Tyler Castor, not only being a bartender at Kelly’s in Neptune, he is no stranger to being sent over there. This will be his 3rd deployment overseas. He comes from such a great family, and his mother is awesome for raising such a great guy. God Bless you Tyler, and MUCH LOVE BROTHER, AND HURRY HOME!
New Jersey National Guard And Why Are They Going?
The reason for this deployment is to support Operation Inherent Resolve. This is the United States military’s name for the war against the Islamic State. Also, they have a campaign in Iraq, Syria, a campaign in Libya. The brave men and women will be leaving New Jersey on Sunday and doing five weeks of training in Fort Bliss, Texas.
I want to wish the brave men and women of the New Jersey National Guard so many thanks for their service and dedication to what they are doing. May God Bless you all and please come home safe.
