This Guy Wants To Collect 1,000,000 Copies of Titanic On VHS
The big question that we can’t seem to answer yet is, “Why?” There’s a guy who is a gigantic fan of the smash-hit movie Titanic and he has set a goal of to collect one million copies of Titanic on VHS. You read that correctly. 1,000,000 copies. On VHS tape.
And again, let me just ask, “Why?”
Of course, a ton of people owned the movie on VHS tape back in the day. More than 25 million of them were sold. Though it’s unclear how many of them are still in use and how many of them are packed away in a box somewhere in the basement. Not matter, if you still have a copy of Titanic on VHS, this man wants your to mail it to him. He says got a P.O.Box that he claims is jammed full of them every week.
The man goes by the name, “J.D.” and he’s from Florida (of course). The answer to my question seems to be, “Because he’s a huge fan of the movie”. JD claims that he already has the largest collection of the Titanic movie soundtrack on CD. His collection of the VHS tapes is well on its way but it’s no where near one million. JD says that his current Titanic VHS collection stands at 2477 copies. So, clearly JD needs help from the outside.
I don’t care how many thrift stores JD visits, no way he gets to a million copies on VHS without help from the general public. And, lets be honest for a moment: If you still have a copy of the flick on VHS it’s doubtful that you do anything with it. So you might as well mail it to this nut case in Florida.
If you still have a copy of Titanic on VHS, you can mail your copy to JD at this address: P.O Box 5355, Largo, Florida, 33779
JD thanks you for helping him reach his goal to collect one million copies of Titanic on VHS on today’s No Sweat News.
