S#!t Museum Opens In Arizona – Poo Museum
Well, this No Sweat News story took an interesting turn. Look out, Lucy the Elephant there’s a new competitor for “Best American Roadside Attraction“. The poo museum in Arizona claims to to be the world’s biggest museum dedicated to defecation. It’s the only poop museum I’ve ever heard of. What about you?
Wait, what? A museum dedicated to defecation? Crap-ola? S#!t? A deuce? Yes, you read that correctly. But before you go tell your dad that something he made is finally museum worthy it’s important that you realize that this poo museum is dedicated to fossilized dinosaur poop. The place is called the Poozuem (pronounced like “museum” except starting with “poo” instead of “mu”).
Where Is The Poop Museum?
The Poozuem is in Arizona on the famous Route 66 in a town called Williams. Williams, Arizona is on the way to the Grand Canyon if you’re driving from Phoenix. Fun fact: It’s free to get into the Poozuem. The poop museum claims to have over 8,000 pieces of coprolite among their collection. (Coprolite is the official, scientific for fossilized dinosaur poop.)
Their Instagram is filled with excellent examples of coprolite. They claim that one of their biggest specimens is actually the world’s largest ever found. It’s a two-foot long beauty that they think belonged to a T-Rex. (I mean, look at that thing: You gotta believe that when that T-Rex dropped that deuce he called the kids over to marvel at it’s excellence…)
Poo Museum: Pretty Good For A Roadside Attraction
No way does the Poozuem get close to knocking off our dear Lucy for the title of Best Roadside Attraction in the whole country but as roadside attractions go, it’s gotta be better than some of the other nominees for that title. I’d rather see some fossilized dino crap than visit the world’s biggest ball of twine or the pencil sharpener museum. Wouldn’t you? Whatta ya say, kids: Poop museum then ice cream? Let’s go!
