Kickstarter For Doorbell Cam That Shoots Paintballs At Visitors
Imagine having a doorbell cam that shoots paintballs at visitors.
First there was the door knock. Then the door bell. The peep hole was a nice innovation, but technology soon allowed us to see who was at the door without leaving the couch. Today, the No Sweat News introduces you to the Armed Doorbell. A doorbell cam that shoots paintballs and possibly tear gas. The Kickstarter campaign for the doorbell camera that shoots paintballs launched with a fully insane video, which you can see below.
So, yeah. The next innovation in door bell cameras is an ARMED front door. Clearly, this mad scientist is getting prepared for the impending post-capitalist apocalypse.
The PaintCam Eye Doorbell Camera
This doorbell cam that shoots paintballs is from a start-up in Slovenia. Apparently the neighborhoods in Slovenia aren’t quite as safe as they are here on the Jersey shore. This door bell invention has the capability to to fire paintballs at someone near your front door with “ultra-high precision”. Maybe it’s an intruder, maybe a neighbors pet. Or maybe it’s that loser that your daughter is seeing despite you telling her that you don’t approve (that last example taken straight from the teaser video, by the way).
Users who get in on this insanity will be able to connect to the PaintCam via a smart phone app. You’ll be able to view the camera and decide on the spot if the person at the front door deserves to meet the wrath of your paintballs. Or worse you could choose to unleash the contents of the optional tear gas plug-in cartridge!
According to the video, this doorbell cam that shoots paintballs can be fully automated after equipping the facial recognition option. What could possibly go wrong, right?!?!

Here’s the teaser video for this kickstarter project. There’s no word on what it might cost or what the subscription fees might be to keep it loaded But don’t forget to budget something for a good lawyer when you get sued because of this thing shot up an innocent visitor, kid, or pet.

When Carl is not working at the greatest rock radio station known to mankind; a station known around the globe; a station that has the best music, co-workers, advertisers and most importantly THE BEST F'N LISTENERS you may find me doing any one of the following: Riding or making mountain bike trails. playing with his kids. playing sand volleyball on 5th Ave, cooking amazing food, including on his sweet smoker grill, going to concerts, swimming in the ocean, going to amusement parks with his kids, and other stuff that rocks!
