Watch A Guy In England Eat Raw Chicken As A Disgusting Internet Challenge
There's a guy in England who is eating RAW chicken daily as some kind of internet challenge.
His name is not important. What is important is that you DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO in The Pit if you are eating breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a light snack. There’s a guy who is eating raw chicken every day. He says he’s going to eat raw chicken until he gets sick. (Of all the goals in my life, doing something until I get sick has never notched the belt. How about you?”
Regardless of the intellectual veracity of his goal: He’s currently up to day EIGHTEEN. 18 days of eating raw chicken and, somehow, this guy is still alive.
In case you’re wondering, food experts say that raw chicken is not safe to eat. Raw chicken can have a few things on it that could make you sick. The first one that most people know of is salmonella. According to the CDC, other bacteria that could be found on raw chicken includes Campylobacter and something called Colostridium perfringengs. Symptoms of all that stuff are the basics of food poisoning hit parade. That would be: upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea (possibly mixed with blood), pain and cramps, fever and headache.
Despite all those concerns some people do eat raw chicken and survive (not just this guy). In fact, eating raw chicken is considered a delicacy in Japan. A cultural delicacy is one thing. Eating raw chicken and risking food poisoning for an internet gag, well that seems pretty stupid. But here we are.
Video Of The Raw Chicken Guy
Here’s the video from day three. Just have a look at that (gulp) delicious, sinewy, slimy raw bird. He just pops it in his gaw and chews and chews and chews.
And I’m about to be sick and sick and sick.
YOU’VE BEEN WARNED
(Oh, by the way. Man genius looks like he’s going to wash it all down with a glass of raw eggs.)
If you made it through that, have a peek at day one of his raw chicken challenge…
There’s a ton more videos on the Raw Chicken Experiment Instagram page. Enjoy.
Where to Get Wings in Brick, N.J. : A Top 8 List
I love a good meaty wing made with a variety of sauces and rubs. Don’t kill me, but Buffalo wings are my least favorite unless they come with a good chunky bleu cheese dressing. My absolute favorite flavor is garlic parmesan (no dressing or dipping sauce needed), followed by Thai chili. I will try anything you suggest as long as the wings are meaty. I like both flats and drums, so there’s no issue there.
I hate overcooked skimpy chicken wings like some of the national chain restaurants sell. The only national chain wings I like are from Wing Stop. Their Garlic Parmesan wings are made with a dry rub, savory garlic, and buttery Parmesan cheese.
Here at the WRAT, we have a few wing experts on staff who I unreservedly trust when it comes to choosing a place that makes amazing wings.
Afternoon Drive guy and the WRAT’S Prince of Production, Jimmy Steal, is the unequivocal “Wing King” of Beasley Media New Jersey. Morning man and WRAT Programming Chief, Carl Craft deserves to share at least a small part of the wing throne with King James. Jimmy consumes more wings annually than all of the employees of Beasley Media N.J. combined. I’m going to add our promo guy, “Atomic” Rob to the list of experts. He likes his wings super hot & spicy. If it doesn’t have heat, the man won’t eat.
Jimmy favors the Harry’s Smokin’ BBQ food truck on Dover Rd in South Toms River, as well as Beach Haven’s, The Chicken or The Egg, and a place in Cinnaminson called The Jug Handle Inn.
This time around, we’re going to focus on the 8 favorite places in Brick, New Jersey to get wings according to the folks on the Brick Community page and the wings chat. I’m cheering you guys on because you selected some of my personal favorite.
When Carl is not working at the greatest rock radio station known to mankind; a station known around the globe; a station that has the best music, co-workers, advertisers and most importantly THE BEST F'N LISTENERS you may find me doing any one of the following: Riding or making mountain bike trails. playing with his kids. playing sand volleyball on 5th Ave, cooking amazing food, including on his sweet smoker grill, going to concerts, swimming in the ocean, going to amusement parks with his kids, and other stuff that rocks!
