Hey Rat Rockers this story is really messed up. A woman named Susan Hodgson from Georgia was on vacation, when she gets a call that her house was being demolished. Susan was very shocked when she heard a company called "You Call It We Haul It" decided to stop by. The problem is this company was supposed to demolish a house at a different address.  When the next door neighbor confronted the company, they even had a really bad attitude with her.

After Susan heard from the neighbor, she made a phone call to another family member to check into it. The family member asked to see their permit, and noticed they were suppose to demolish a house at a different address. I'm guessing they felt really stupid because they didn't even say anything. They just drove off and leaving the house is shambles.

Thank the lord no one was injured or living in it at the time. Although the house had been boarded up for the past 15 years. The family did have the taxes paid up to date and the grounds were maintained. Susan definitely did not want the house torn down at all.  This house has been in her family for generations even though it was not occupied.

China Bans Use Of Land For Luxury Villas

BEIJING - JUNE 01: Demolition vehicles knock down an old building on June 1, 2006 in Beijing, China. China has imposed an order preventing land being used for luxury residences aimed at slowing a housing boom that has driven prices sky-high. Measures issued by the Ministry of Land and Resources also called on local officials to supply more land for "smaller and cheaper houses,".(Photo by Guang Niu/Getty Images)

This story did make local news and the company did say they will investigate on how this happened. They also said they are coming up with a plan on how to fix this horrible mistake. As I write this story, I can't even begin to understand how these workers could get a totally different address then what was written on the permit. I mean check the numbers on the mailbox or even on the house.

Thank you for taking the time out to read this story and rocking out with me and The Rat. Get more stories by clicking right HERE. - Gotts

Gotts is the unofficial mascot of the county. Whenever WRAT is hosting an event, people ask if Gotts will be there. there. Like Bigfoot, many people claim to see him in the area. According to Gotts, he was thrown out of home school in Monroe Township. To keep up with his own legend, Gotts likes writing about wacky local news that happens – such as pepperoni vandals. His favorite movie is Point Break, and is a big lover of Miller Lite. His favorite words to live by are “The windshield is always bigger than the rearview mirror”.
