Tesla Has A Recall After A New Jersey Driver’s Steering Wheel Fell Off
Hey Rat Rockers if you own or even maybe you know someone who owns a Tesla you might want to share this story. A New Jersey man has had a scary moment literally in his hands when he was driving his Tesla Model Y’s steering wheel fell off while he was driving back in January.
This steering wheel issue has really gained a lot of attention after Prerak Patel was out and about in Woodbridge, in his Tesla Model Y and it was not the first time this had came across the radar because this is the second report that came in with this problem.

Prerak Patel does report that he was disappointed that Tesla never reached out to him and never really investigated his incident, but he did appreciate the NHSTA stepping up and figuring out the manufacturing defect, and he is hopeful that Tesla will fix this problem so no one will experience what he had to deal with.
He was with his family when this occurred and thankfully himself and family are okay, and Tesla did replace his car at no additional cost just around a month after this scary incident. There is a new recall that does include on manufactured cars from June 23rd 2022 to May 1st 2023.

If you ask me I would hand the steering wheel to Elon Musk himself and have my car towed in his front lawn plus give me a bunch of money for almost killing me. Can you imagine driving and having your steering wheel fall off in your hands ?
