Thief Swallowed $770,000 Worth of Stolen Diamonds
This time around we go to Orlando Florida, where a 32-year thief named Jaythan Gilder really tried to steal $1.3 MILLION worth of diamond jewelry from a Tiffany & Co according to reports. This crazy guy walked in the store and was keeping an eye out for some items to take for free. Jaythan decided to grab some really expensive things on his way out. Didn’t really work out to well for this guy.
So on his way out, he got into a scuffle with employees, and he dropped a ring but as be that as it may, he got away with two sets of diamond earrings worth $610,000 and $160,000.
Then he jumped into his SUV and TRIED to drive all the way back to Texas, but the police tracked him down a few hours later. So before they took him into custody, Jaythan SWALLOWED the two sets of earrings.
His intake of the diamonds did not fool anybody. It just made it messy for the police, who had to scan his body and they did see the “foreign objects,” and told him that they’d have to be “collected, after passing through his system.”
Gotts’ Thoughts On This Story
Well if you ask me and someone tells me they swallowed all those diamonds, and they had to be passed I would say “That Is Some Really Expensive $H*T!” I have done stories about bad robberies, but this is a whole new situation here. Did this guy really think he was going to make it back to Texas from Florida? I mean with all the cameras out, this guy could not be serious. Also, let me add his stomach must be really beat up, and cut up. I don’t think Pepto Bismol is going to help this guy out at all.
