Teen Sets Congressman’s Office on Fire, Angry Over TikTok Ban

This is just insane… A 19-year-old teen was so upset about the TikTok ban that he set fire to his local congressman’s office out in Wisconsin. Get this, TikTok was…

This is just insane...

A 19-year-old teen was so upset about the TikTok ban that he set fire to his local congressman's office out in Wisconsin.

Get this, TikTok was down for less than 24 hours this weekend and this nutjob reacts like this.

The office he torched belongs to Congressman Glenn Grothman.  He's a Republican known to be outspoken about TikTok and it is a security threat.

He also co-sponsored a bill to ban it on government devices in 2022.  It happened in a town called Fond du Lac early Sunday morning.

The Aftermath

The fire started near a backdoor and burned some vinyl siding outside.  Cops were on the scene and knocked the flames down with fire extinguishers.  Then firefighters got there and took over.  They say the fire never got inside. Thank God

Fond du Lac's police chief said no one was there when it happened, so luckily no one got hurt. They still haven't released the guy's name, but he's facing arson charges, that's for sure. They said he was arrested at the scene "because he was just sitting there watching it burn." This kid would rather be sent off to jail because no TikTok.

Someone should tell him, that jail does not have TikTok or any internet for prisoners. This kid might have just thrown his life away because of something so stupid.

I think he needs to lie on a leather couch and get some therapy. Good luck making videos behind bars.

Gotts is the unofficial mascot of the county. Whenever WRAT is hosting an event, people ask if Gotts will be there. there. Like Bigfoot, many people claim to see him in the area. According to Gotts, he was thrown out of home school in Monroe Township. To keep up with his own legend, Gotts likes writing about wacky local news that happens – such as pepperoni vandals. His favorite movie is Point Break, and is a big lover of Miller Lite. His favorite words to live by are “The windshield is always bigger than the rearview mirror”.
