Floatshoalla Is This Weekend At Tices Shoal
Floatshoalla is this weekend, with hundreds of boats expected off the coast of Island Beach State Park in the popular Tices Shoal.
The event, an offspring of sort of the famous and infamous Floatchella event held for many years, will see hundreds of boats and floats in the water in Barnegat Bay and more revelers on the bayside beach of Island Beach State Park, near the Tices Shoal Trail Docks.
Floatchella No More
Due to a series of mishaps during last year’s Floatchella event, the Floats and boats event was said to be canceled earlier this year. However, according to the Floatshoalla event Facebook Page, the 12 hour event is on. The Facebook page goes on to say THE BIGGEST BOAT PARTY on the Jersey Shore!!
We’re back & better than ever! No need to ever worry about your favorite weekend at the jersey shore being canceled because IT NEVER WILL
From here on out we will always plan for the last full weekend in July! So bring your friends, your hydration, and most importantly your FLOATS.
The organizers also included a new Floatshoalla logo with the post.

The Two day event starts around 8am and supposedly runs until 8pm each day, although it’s thought the party may continue nonstop for some.
The weather meanwhile, is supposed to be stellar this weekend, meaning there might be record-breaking crowds, since Floatschoalla is this weekend, filled with drunken sex and debauchery both onboard, on the beach, and in the water!
About Island Beach State Park.

According to the official IBSP website, Island Beach State Park is a preserved barrier island that protects a number of natural shorelines and nearshore habitats. The park contains close to ten miles of sandy beach, an extensive shoreline along Barnegat Bay, dense maritime forests, rolling sand dunes, and tidal marshes. Island Beach is also home to foxes, ospreys, other wildlife, and more than 400 species of plants.
The majority of visitors to Island Beach State Park come to swim in the ocean or surf fish from the beach. You can also enjoy other recreational pursuits in the park and see firsthand what the barrier islands of New Jersey looked like many centuries ago.
Island Beach State Park is located at the southern terminus of Route 35 and is just a short drive from the boardwalks and beaches of Seaside Heights. The southern tip of the Island Beach State Park bounds one side of Barnegat Inlet and offers a beautiful view of Barnegat Lighthouse. The lighthouse is part of Barnegat Lighthouse State Park which is located on the opposite side of the inlet, on Long Beach Island.
