Grab A Wild Turkey At This Local Toms River NJ Eatery
Burger 25, located at 199 Route 37 East in Toms River has something they want you to gobble up! It’s the return of their Wild Turkey Burger.
The local chain just added their second location on LBI earlier this year. They are known for their amazing burger combinations, some rarely if ever seen before. Earlier this year, I wrote about a collaboration they did with local Italian restaurant Piccolinos for their Drunken Parm Chicken Sandwich.

Meanwhile, now they have brought back what many locals feel is the best creation they have ever done, The Wild Turkey. It may be turkey, but it’s so much more!
What’s in it?
According to their Facebook page, the ingredients of the Wild Turkey are just about everything you would put on your plate on Thanksgiving Day, all in one. They start with what they call a fresh ground turkey burger, topped with corn bread stuffing. Ok, see right there, that’s crazy. However, I was intrigued enough to continue. Next, comes a layer of sweet potato fries. Why not, right? Next the burger is smothered with turkey gravy. Lastly, you gotta have cranberries, right? So, the chef finishes it off with a cranberry aioli, and somehow shoves this bird between two halves of a soft Martin’s potato roll! MY GOD, and it’s only 10 bucks.

According to the restaurant’s website, Burger 25 launched in 2013 at 1611 RT 37, The business was full of learning curves for. Following a few very successful burgers of the month and the introduction of some creative shakes, Burger 25 began to grow exponentially with each passing year. By 2018 owners Steve and Denise knew the business simply outgrew the current space. They decided they wanted to give customers a bigger and better atmosphere to enjoy. Meanwhile, it was around then they heard the beloved Toms River business owner of Wolfie’s Deli was looking to sell and retire. The couple knew it would be the perfect spot to create the vision they had in mind. With the addition of the Long Beach Island location, Burger 25 is officially a Jersey Shore franchise, and who knows when and where the next location will pop up.
For now though, be sure to gobble up a Wild Turkey Burger, available through November. Might want to avoid the scale til January though.
