Piccolino Italian Kitchen & Burger 25 Collaborate On A Chicken Sandwich!!!

The all new Piccolino Italian Kitchen and Toms River icon Burger 25 have smashed a collab together, and it looks and sounds delish!
Piccolino, the new Italian kitchen that opened late last year at 1177 Fischer Boulevard in Toms River has a vast food pedigree, coming from the family tree of Jersey Shore favorite Rockafellas in Ortley Beach. So a hook up with the folks at Burger 25, another well known, and beloved foodie locale, makes perfect sense.
They are calling it the "collab you don't want to miss" .
With good reason too. As most of us living in this country know, chicken sandwiches are the biggest thing in the fast food/fast casual world right now. Ever since Popeyes tried to take down Chik Fil A, the king of the fast food chicken sandwich with their absolutely Instagramable Popeye's Chicken Sandwich, things have gotten crazy! Naturally, It's nice to see two local REAL restaurants give us an original take on a clucker between two buns!
So what is it, exactly ?
According to Piccolino's and Burger 25's Instagram pages, the sandwich is best described as "hand breaded crispy chicken, topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, and finished off with Piccolino's homemade vodka sauce. All of this awesomeness is served between our signature Martin potato bun, brushed with garlic butter". My God.
Now that we have the "WHAT", what about the "WHEN" and the "WHY" ?
Well the WHEN is simple. Tomorrow, February 1st Burger 25 will debut the DRUNKEN PARM CHICKEN SANDWICH to the world, as their February Burger Of The Month. However, the WHY of the story is even better. According the their Instagram page, Burger 25 is doing this collaboration with Piccolino Italian Kitchen to welcome them to Toms River, and to help support them as a new business in town. That is awesome! Great job by both of these places. Now outta my way...I need a Drunken Parm!!!!
