500 Pounds of Cooked Pasta Was Dumped In NJ
Hey Rat Rockers let’s go to Old Bridge, local story here and as we all know we all love the food here in New Jersey but what the hell is this about ? As the headline reads someone decided to dump an estimated 500 pounds of cooked pasta near a stream in Old Bridge last week ! Yes I don’t know why someone would do that too.

The town was alerted and did not go off the cooking pot to respond right away but, Nina Jochnowitz who ran prior for council in the town’s 6th ward got in touch with a concerned citizen and took a ride out there to see what in the holy heck is going on.

Once she saw this pasta mess she immediately reached out to the town administrator and also the department of public works about what she had seen. She has stated when making the call, she saw mounds of cooked spaghetti, elbows and ziti dumped along a 25 foot wide area !

Now no need to worry about it I’m sure the local deer and other animals and insects sure loved it and treated it like Thanksgiving, and were living like kings, but it has been hauled away from the site. Nina Jochnowitz has stated that she was a little upset that it took some time for the local town to take action but very happy that the DPW cleaned it all up.

It is still unclear on how long the pasta has been there but nevertheless, who cooks that much and dumps it ? No suspects were attached to the “Pasta Police” and it’s really unclear if the local cops are even looking into this. Us here at The Rat are all about giving back to our local community’s and the state of New Jersey. No need to waste like that right ? What’s your take on this story ?
