Devon Thompson is raw and unfiltered. She’s also elegant and polished. The singer/songwriter/guitar player strives to project honesty through her music. The result is a captivating combination of both beauty and darkness. Through her desire to simply be herself, Devon Thompson has struck a balance sought after by many artists.
Though she is still relatively early in her career, Devon Thompson has already acquired attention from industry veterans. She is one of the youngest guitar players endorsed by Gibson and was scouted by RAT Radio’s own Christopher The Minister. Minister had this to say:
“When I’m not doing the 7-12 Gospel show on WRAT, I’m always on the look out for new artists who have music roots from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s. I have spent the last 2 years working with Devon who I knew had this Rock / Dark Vibe waiting to come out.“
Devon Thompson’s debut single “Soft Like Water” is available for streaming now on Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal. The video for the tune was recently featured as the Jersey Rock Video of the Week.
