“Another Deadbeat Summer” Album Release Show Rocks the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park on July 12!
2024 has been an epic year for Bobby Mahoney. The band made their South By Southwest debut and shortly thereafter announced they had signed to Steven Van Zandt’s label Wicked Cool Records. Their debut album on the label “Another Deadbeat Summer” is available now. Bobby Mahoney announced the album’s release on social media. He wrote:
“Today is the big day! In some ways, today has been ten or more years in the making. Our new album, “Another Deadbeat Summer”, is now available for purchase and streaming worldwide, via Wicked Cool Records! Secure your physical copy on Vinyl or CD today!”
The journey to Wicked Cool Records was a long one. It was years, countless shows, and endless positive impressions made by a band that is always shining with an upbeat energy. We’re excited the right person noticed them. The band’s debut album on the label is the result of a creative process that goes back at least six years. Speaking of “Another Deadbeat Summer,” Bobby Mahoney said:
“It was a combination of our self-titled EP, released in 2018 and We Go On EP that we recorded in 2020, during the pandemic, and then released in 2022. Geoff Sanoff took all the songs and stripped them all down and rebuilt the mixes from the ground up. We re-recorded a couple things and Joe Lambert did a great master on the record. I’m very pleased with how the record has come together. “

“It’s a stacked linuep. We’re playing with Soraia and Idle Wave. Feeny is playing an acoustic set. It’s going to be a big night of family and friends and who knows what going to happen during our set. We’re excited to share the night with everybody to celebrate the record!“
