A Local Jersey Craft Brewery Honors Neil Peart
An Atlantic Highlands craft brewery is honoring the late Rush drummer Neil Peart with a brand new beer. Carton Brewing of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey unveiled the new creation called, “Pier-T. At 5% ABV, the beer is available at Carton’s East Washington Ave. tasting room for $21.12 per four pack. Proceeds will be donated in Neil’s name to research into Glioblastoma which is the type of brain cancer Neil Peart was diagnosed with.
Pier-T combines Pilsner and Vienna malts with Motueka hops and lime puree for a beer that is playful, crisp and incredibly refreshing.
I say we should all buy a few four packs to celebrate “The Professor” this weekend.
