Patricia’s Wood Burning Oven Restaurant Coming To Silverton
The new sign is up, as the Silverton section of Toms River patiently waits for their newest culinary neighbor. Patricia’s Wood Burning Oven Restaurant!
The spot most recently was held for about a year by L’Osteria, an Italian restaurant that opened to much fanfare in the Shoppes At Hooper, 1922 Hooper Avenue. No one is certain what went wrong with L’Osteria, causing it to close so quickly. It always seemed packed, especially on weekends, and online reviews seem to be overwhelmingly positive. Unfortunately, these things happen in the restaurant business, and L’Osteria is no more.
However, a new and exciting dining experience is getting set to take place soon, with Patricia’s much anticipated opening this Fall.
While no definitive link has been made, it seems this Patricia’s is an offspring of the well known and beloved Patricia’s eatery in Holmdel. The signage is similar, as is the size of the restaurant. If this is indeed the case, the Silverton section of Toms River has really gotten a gastronomical gem! Patricia’s of Holmdel as long been regarded as creators of fantastic Italian dishes. From their scratch made pastas, to their creative salads and wood fired pizzas. Furthermore, I’ve heard people rave for years about Patricia’s of Holmdel’s famous Nonna’s Meatballs. Three veal, beef and pork meatballs, alta cucina tomato sauce, and scoop of ricotta.
Man, that looks and sounds so good. Silvertonians can only hope the new place’s menu will be similar if not exactly the same.
A “Wood Burning Oven Restaurant”.
Interestingly, the Patricia’s Of Toms River has sub signage on it’s facade that has mouth’s watering. They are calling themselves a wood burning oven restaurant. Many of us have had wood burned oven pizzas, but a restaurant basing much of it’s menu of on cooking with a wood burning oven is new and exciting for sure! I can only imagine Wood Fired Wings, Octopus, Steaks and Chicken. Oh and maybe some wood fired Nonna’s Meatballs! Well, maybe I’m getting a bit to ahead of myself. Although it’s difficult not to get excited about a restaurant of this magnitude planting it’s stakes in the ground in the Silverton Community. An area with just a few bars and taverns, one fine dining establishment, and over 10 pizza joints!
There is no official opening date for Patricia’s Of Toms River, although they have created a modest website, which one would assume would have updates on the opening in the future. https://www.patriciasoftomsriver.com/?fbclid=IwAR25sNLHp7fdjxGKe1OROuD0WRz_wFEUpeWEpeP29022As1oFc5yHkv7z20
