Well Happy Birthday America, and God Bless all who serve this great country. This is always a great time of the year to bring the family, and friends out to see some amazing fireworks. We are in for a special treat this year because here at the Jersey Shore, they have so many locations for us to sit back and catch all the action. Here are some safety tips, according to the National Safety Council.
The 4th is this Thursday, and you down here at the Jersey shore, it's all about parties, BBQs, and just leaving your issues somewhere else. I love sitting right off the beach and watching those amazing blasts and the awesome colors that light up the sky. So let's hope you find a spot on this list, that you can get to and have some fun this year.
List Of Fireworks At The Jersey Shore
- Six Flags Great Adventure - As of yesterday, this place will be hosting a four-day bash, right up to the 4th. The fireworks are expected to go off just around 9:30 pm. You can get more information at sixflags.com.
- Asbury Park: This party happens on July 2nd at 2nd and 4th beaches. The fuses get the fire at 9 pm. The rain date is the 3rd. Get more information at cityofasburypark.com.
- Ocean Township: This also happens on July 2nd and they get it going at 6 to 10:30 p.m. at Joe Palaia Park. More information at oceantwp.org.
- Freehold: Come see some great fireworks on July 3rd from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Freehold Raceway. They will have food trucks and live music. Keep this in mind no backpacks, coolers, or pets are allowed. Bring the blankets and beach chairs though. Get all the details at freeholdboroughnj.gov.
- Manasquan: Come have some fun at the Main Beach with a concert at 7:30 p.m., and fireworks go off at dusk. More information at manasquan-nj.gov.
- Brick: Windward Beach Park, has this one getting ready to go right on July 4th, with a SummerFest concert series, which will give you fireworks after every show. Food, beer, and wine garden too. Music begins around 7 p.m, Check out bricksummerfest.com for more information.
- Seaside Heights: Also checking in on the 4th will be the Coca-Cola Fireworks Extravaganza and going to start at 9:30 p.m. on the boardwalk, get more information at seaside-heightsnj.org.
- Bradley Beach: They rock it on July 5th, with fireworks taking place at the beachfront at dusk. More information is found at bradleybeachnj.gov.
- Belmar: Get ready to kick off with a concert at 8:30 p.m. in front of the Taylor Pavilion. Fireworks start after 9 p.m, also there will be a computerized light show. Donations ($25 recommended per family) support veterans through Rebuilding Warriors. Get all the information right at belmar.com.

There is nothing better than celebrating the 4th of July In New Jersey — one of the proudest parts of America! Attached is a growing list of Independence Day celebrations across the Garden State, starting in late June, and going as far as July 6th.

June 27th - Montgomery Township
Starting at 6:00, this kicks off at the front lawn of Montgomery High School on route 601. Those who get there early can enjoy food trucks, live music, as well as games and activities for the kids.
June 28th - Lawrence Township
The annual fireworks display will be held at Rider University. The festivities start at 6:00 p.m., and the family can enjoy live bands, food trucks, and children's entertainment. Expect a longer night because the fireworks will start around 9:30 p.m.
June 29th - Matawan
Located at Lake Lefferts Park on Ravine Drive. The Matawan 4th of July celebration kicks off at 6:00 p.m.. Enjoy kids' activities, inflatables, and a live musical appearance by the Pezheads. Fireworks are scheduled to launch when it gets dark.

July 1st - Hamilton Township
Located at Veterans Park, Hamilton Township is hosting its Independence Day event starting at 6:00 p.m. Live entertainment and food will be on site. Fireworks are expected to begin at 9:30 p.m.
July 2nd - Aberdeen
Aberdeen's annual Independence Day Celebration is going to be its "biggest year yet!", according to the township. This will be held at Veterans Memorial Park starting at 5:00 p.m. Fireworks are expected to go off at 9:00 p.m.

July 3rd - Union Beach
Celebrate the 4th Of July at Union Beach at the beachfront. Fireworks begin when it gets dark.

July 3rd - Freehold
From 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., everyone gathers at the Freehold Raceway to enjoy the fireworks show! Lawn chairs are RECOMMENDED!
July 3rd - Asbury Park
The annual Asbury Park Independence Day celebration! View the fireworks from the Second and Fourth Avenue beaches starting at 9:00 p.m.

July 3rd - Keansburg
Celebrate the birth of our nation at Keansburg Amusement Park & Runaway Rapids' "BIGGEST show ever"! Spend the day at the park and cap it off with a beautiful fireworks display. *FREE ENTRY*
July 3rd - Woodbridge
This fireworks display will be at Alvin P. Williams Park! Gates open at 4:00 p.m., and there will be live music, vendors, food trucks, and more. Be sure to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

July 4th - East Brunswick
East Brunswick's 4th Of July celebration is going to be held at the Community Arts Center on Cranbury Road. There will be children's games, food vendors, and an appearance from the East Brunswick Symphony Orchestra! Parking for the event will be available at the arts center using the entrance/exit ramp roadside. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.. More parking information can be found here.

July 4th - Long Branch
OCEANFEST - "The Biggest Independence Day celebration anywhere in New Jersey"!
The event starts at 1:00 p.m. and goes all the way to 10:00 p.m. Firworks are expected to go off at 9:00 p.m.
July 4th - Milltown
Another large-scale 4th of July celebration, this event kicks off at 6:00 IN THE MORNING. Fishing, fun runs, food, parades, beer gardens, and so much more are happening here. Fire works are expected to launch at 9:30 p.m.

July 5th - Atlantic Highlands
Atlantic Highlands will be having its fireworks display at the Marina, starting at 9:45 p.m. Perfect night for watching from the boat.

Starting promptly at 8:30 p.m., this can't miss fireworks display is best observed from the grass in fron of Silver Lake on Ocean Avenue. IT CANNOT BE SEEN FROM THE BEACH
