About Mariners Cove
According to their website, Mariners Cove is filled with spacious two-bedroom townhomes that have beautiful water views available from their scenic location on Barnegat Bay. Each townhome has its very own private patio and balcony. Amenities include a fitness center, Bark Park, outdoor circuit training equipment, and 24-hour on-site emergency maintenance.
Before the complex was renovated after Superstorm Sandy in 2012, and renamed Mariners Cove, the complex was well known at the Jersey Shore as Holiday On The Bay, a popular seasonal and year-round apartment complex that was state-of-the-art Barnegat Bay living in the ’70s and 80’s. Unfortunately, Holiday On The Bay fell into disrepair by the 2000’s. After Sandy the whole complex was given a facelift and stands today as the well-maintained Mariners Cove.
Once again, thanks to the quality efforts of the Silverton Fire Department for their quick thinking and fast acting on this fire to stop it from spreading any further, thus saving thousands of dollars in property, and more importantly, countless lives.
