Summer In The Streets In Downtown Toms River
The Summer In The Streets Festival is happening again this year on Washington Street in Downtown Toms River, on Saturday, July 20th, from 2 to 8 pm.
The event, which blossomed from the ill-fated Ice Cream Festival a decade ago, has become one of the Downtown Business Improvement District’s signature events. In addition to tons of local vendors, there will be live music, fresh food cooked up by local eateries as well as food trucks. Plus there will be kids activities, family fun, a beer and wine area, and of course your friends from 95-9 The Rat will be on hand as well!
What Live Music Is Scheduled?
There will be live performances at the Summer In The Streets Festival by the likes of the Toms River branch of The Music Academy, the local band Wrong Exit, local music mixer DJ Jukebox, and the Toms River Dance Centre .
What Food Vendors Will Be There?
There are going to be plenty of hungry foodies at the Summer In The Streets Festival. Some of the local vendors selling goodies will include, A Thyme for All Seasons- Battle River Brewing- Capones- Garden State Distillery- Mandoli’s – Mathis House- Mullers Creamery – Netty’s Sweets- Oi Sushi- Smokies BBQ- Tacotastic – Tommy Boy’s Cafe, and others.

Downtown Toms River is a not-for-profit organization specially designated to promote and implement the economic revitalization of the Downtown Toms River business district.
Their goals are to preserve its cultural, historic, tourist, and civic interests while accessing public and private resources to improve business profitability and property values. Downtown Toms River is managed by the Toms River Business Development Corporation, a not-for-profit corporation whose members are elected by the commercial property owners and business owners of the district.
