Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Spyne!
Rocking Salty’s Beach Bar in Lake Como on July 11!
Spyne! is stepping up for an important cause this summer. The band will rock Salty’s Beach Bar in Lake Como on Thursday July 11 to raise funds for an area man who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The group is planning an upbeat evening of local Rock to tackle this endeavor. Speaking of the upcoming show, lead singer Kyle Moyer said:
“Spyne! and local band 3rd of July will be fundraising at Salty’s Beach Bar in Lake Como for Garrett Mozolic, a Woodbridge local who graduated from Woodbridge High School in 2007 and was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. This show will help benefit his family with any medical expenses they have, as their insurance will only cover a small portion of it.“
He continued:

Spyne! has released a number of great singles, which they regularly work into their live sets. You can check out their tunes on Spotify. The band is currently working on a full-length album. Kyle Moyer shared some news with us regarding the upcoming release. He said:
“Our debut LP is to be titled “Out of Nowhere” and won’t be out for a little while longer, hopefully by the end of this year. However, we have been sprinkling in our new songs at our live shows, including this upcoming one on July 11th!“
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The RAT Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night at 11:30 pm to hear some of those songs and learn more about the July 11 benefit show at Salty’s Beach Bar. Kyle Moyer will call in to the show each night!
