Hit the music, Gonzo…it’s The Muppet Show!

Fans of The Muppets and Sesame Street are going to be extremely excited for this…Disney Plus has announced that a brand new documentary on the brilliant Jim Henson will be hitting that streaming service on May 31st…and they just released a full-sized trailer for it!

Of course, Henson was the creator of both The Muppets and Sesame Street and provided joy, education, and entertainment to kids of multiple generations.  If you’re of my age, you spent time as a toddler watching Sesame Street…and then you grew up watching The Muppet Show…one of the most imaginative and fun family programs ever.

And then came the amazing movies…The Muppet Movie (1979), The Great Muppet Caper (1981), Muppets Take Manhattan (1984) were the original three flicks and they were all awesome.  I’m also a fan of The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992), Muppets From Space (1999) and the two recent flicks…The Muppets (2011) and Muppets Most Wanted (2014).

You also have the fantastic Muppets attractions at Disney World and all of the classic TV specials as well.  Honestly…The Muppets are one of the best franchises ever!  Anyway, check out the trailer for Jim Henson: Idea Man below!  The movie comes out on May 31st!
