Eddie Vedder & Post Malone Perform ‘Better Man’ For Charity Event
Good morning, Rat Rock Nation! Davey Mac here…and you may or may not know…but I am a massive Pearl Jam fan. I’m insanely excited for the new album and tour…and think that their new single “Dark Matter”…which we’re playing right now on the RAT…is absolutely awesome.
So, I went to the Pearl Jam YouTube page and found their most recent video…it’s frontman Eddie Vedder playing the classic PJ hit “Better Man” with Post Malone. Apparently, the two combined forces for a charity event in Tennessee. The concert and live auction helped raise over $1 million for EB Research Partnership…” which is dedicated to funding research to treat and cure Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).”
Check this out right now!
To quote the great Shaquille O’Neal…I apologize, Post Malone…I was not familiar with your game. This guy kinda rocks. Speaking of Post and Seattle bands…did you see when Malone paid tribute to Nirvana by playing a complete set of their music on YouTube? If not…watch it below. It’s pretty cool.
Meanwhile, Pearl Jam has released the “official visualizer” for “Dark Matter.” I guess official visualizer is a new way to say…video. Regardless, it’s a trippy spiral effect while the song plays…again pretty cool.
Good on Eddie Vedder and Post Malone for helping to raise money for charity…and big props to them for this rendition of “Better Man.” In my opinion, it’s really good. Well done, boys! By the way, Pearl Jam’s Dark Matter (the album) comes out on April 19th! BOOM!
