New Single "SkinWalker" Coming January 18!

Battle Flag is an Alternative Metal powerhouse with deep New Jersey roots! The group formed in 2016 and has been hard at work crafting a sound that can be described as “hard rock with a sprinkle of metal”.   They call Rockstar! Studios in Middlesex their home base of operations.  There they explore music through a journey of multiple genres, styles, themes, and emotions.  We're excited about where that journey is taking them!

Battle Flag boasts a powerful lineup that includes drummer Steve O’Neil, bassist and vocals Jake Carrion, and guitarists/vocals and brothers, Steve and David Mondragon.  You likely know David from E-Town Concrete and 40 Below Summer.  Speaking of the band's formation Steve Mondragon said:

" Initially formed in 2016 to jam and blow off steam, it took a life of its own and started us on this path of musical ideas and expression through hard rock sprinkled with metal."

We love that description!  Battle Flag's unique sound is on full display in the upcoming single "SkinWalker," which will be released on January 18.  Steve Mondragon said of the new single:

"SkinWalker is our fifth single release, all recorded and produced in house at Rockstar! Studios.  It will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, and any other streaming platforms."

We look forward to the release as well as upcoming announcements on future shows.  Right now the band is writing music and working on ways to enhance their stage show.  Stay on top of everything Battle Flag is doing by following them on facebook.

As we look forward to the release of "SkinWalker," we stoked to take a look back at an earlier single "Death Train."  The lyric video for the tune is this week's Jersey Rock Video of the week.  Steve Mondragon said of the song:

"Death Train refers to troubles and hardships of addiction and how those struggles start coming at you faster and more intensely as you lose control."
