Silverton Firehouse Christmas Tree Fundraiser Begins Next Weekend
An annual Toms River tradition returns Thanksgiving Weekend, when the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company begins selling their fresh cut Christmas Trees.
The Firehouse, located at 15 Kettle Creek Road in the Silverton section of Toms River is anticipating delivery of the Balsams and Frazier Furs on Saturday, November 25th. At that time members of the Company will have to off load the truck, and prep the trees for sale. Meanwhile, depending on delivery time, the Firehouse may be open for business as early as Saturday afternoon or evening. If not, the official opening of the 2023 Silverton Volunteer Fire Company Christmas Tree Fundraiser will be Sunday morning, November 26th at 10am.
The Fire Company is expecting some 350 Christmas trees in stock. Furthermore, if you are familiar with this fundraising event, you know these trees will go quick! I myself can attest to missing out on a tree a few times over the years. Meanwhile, you can even arrange for SANTA himself to deliver your tree to your home on one of the Fire Trucks!!! AWESOME DUDE!
All sales benefit the Fire Company.
The sale of all of the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company’s Trees go directly to benefitting the Fire Company, it’s members, auxiliary, equipment, facilities, vehicles, and more. Moreover, In past years these amazing looking and smelling trees have been gotten from tree farms in Pennsylvania. At the time of this publication, there is no info on where exactly this years crop is from. However, if you ask local Silvertonians, many will tell you that the Firehouse trees are some of the best they’ve every had in their homes for the Holiday Season.
