Fans of wrestling will certainly want to check this out. They've made a movie about the famous Von Erich wrestling family...it's called The Iron Claw and it hits theaters this winter.
If you are unfamiliar with the Von Erichs, their tale is a very tragic one. The family patriarch was Fritz Von Erich...who was a big star back in the day before he turned into a promoter. Fritz wanted his six sons involved in wrestling...and all of them...in one way or another...worked for the family business.
Sadly, five of the six Von Erich sons died young...with sincerely heartbreaking stories revolving around each one. Only Kevin Von Erich has survived to be alive to this day.
The movie is from writer/director Sean Durkin and starrs Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, Maura Tierney, Stanley Simons, Holt McCallany and Lily James. The Iron Claw comes to movie theaters on December 22nd. Watch the new trailer below.
